“American Excellence”

The school’s Black Student Union (BSU) came back for a second year. This time the students wrote and produced their own pop-up runway, “American Excellence.” Each team picked a person or movement that stands for excellence to them. They designed a light-up outfit or umbrella around that choice, then used the color and tempo of the lights to tell its story. BSU members ran every part of the show: design, music, MC lines, posters, lighting and photography. They walked the runway in three shows on April 16, 2026.
