Calgary, Canada at Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School

MakeFashion Edu returned to the Calgary area in 2022 with a workshop for students at Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School (STS). That led to a full-day Wearable Tech Camp for ages 8–12, run with Fuse33 makerspace. Campers designed and built a light-up garment from start to finish. Along the way they learned the basics of fashion-tech design and how to turn a design proposal into a physical piece, using the same technology seen on the professional MakeFashion runway.
